Saturday 30th January sees Muak (People Together) return to London’s EGG Club to kick off 2010 with another night of deep, soulful House.

Continuing their mission to bring together the world’s premiere DJs, producers and musicians, this night is no exception as they welcome the acclaimed DJs and producers Osunlade, Ron Trent and Charles Webster to perform exclusive headline sets.

Fans of deep, soulful house with a twist will know what to look forward to from Osunlade as Muak welcomes him back following his debut appearance in January 2009.  Hailing from New York, he is a House music hero and his productions have seen him work with a who’s who of fans and collaborators, including Quentin Harris, Francois K, Joe Claussell, Louie Vega, Fela Kuti, Roy Ayres, Giles Peterson, Kenny Dope and Ross Allen.

 

 

 

 

 

A perennial presence in music since the early 1990's, Ron Trent is widely recognised as one of the main architects of the Chicago’s House sound with a back catalogue including the classic releases ‘Altered States’ and ‘N came U’.  His work is still relevant today and his vision has evolved to include numerous releases on the Giant Step / Sony / Prescription imprints, as well as ground breaking music and visual art initiatives through the Africa HI FI project.

 

 

 

 

 

Now into his second decade as a true innovator in the electronic music scene, Charles Webster is one of the few real mould-breakers in what is seen, by some, to be an increasingly stale and predictable dance music world.  He has sold over 100,000 albums without ever being considered 'mainstream' or having a major hit single and brings together live music alongside DJs to create a performance of deep, yet uplifting, soulful House music.

Admission is £12.00 with an advance ticket, or £15.00 on the night.
